Nutrition 774 (N-774) initiative is a program designed to vitalize and incentivize local action and improve food security, health, and nutrition in Nigeria. It is a comprehensive, multi-sectoral effort designed to address Nigeria's nutrition and food security challenges by fostering community engagement, multi-level governance, and multi-sectoral collaboration. The program will seek to ensure the convergence of high-impact nutrition interventions at the grassroots level. Focusing on community engagement, governance, and promoting sustainable food production, the N-774 initiative will drive catalytic improvements in nutrition outcomes across Nigeria's 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs). Through a bottom-up approach, strengthened by local governance and multi-sectoral collaboration, the program aims to empower communities, foster ownership, and ensure sustainable interventions that enhance maternal and child health, ultimately mitigating food insecurity and malnutrition.
